Funimation has released a new promotional video for The Duke of Death and His Maid anime adaptation of Koharu Inoue's manga of the same name!

The Japanese romantic comedy anime The Duke of Death and his Maid, which is currently available on Funimation's official streaming app, has been given a new English subtitled promotional video! The new video, included below, introduces us to the duke, his maid, and some of the challenges he faces due to being cursed to steal the life from anything that he touches.

The Duke of Death and his Maid anime is based upoon the manga of the same name that is written and illustrated by Koharu Inoue. The anime series follows the Duke of Death, who was cursed by a witch when he was a child with a spell that kills everything he touches, and his childhood friend and faithful maid Alice, who is in love with him, despite knowing that his touch can kill her.

The Duke of Death and his Maid anime telivision series adaptation by J.C. Staff premiered last month (July 2021). The original manga series was originally seriealized online through Shogakukan's Sunday Webry in October of 2017. To date there have been thirteen tankōbon volumes released. Seven Seas Entertainment has announced that they've acquired licensing rights for the English dub of the anime.
