At Jump Festa this weekend (not to be confused with Jump Special Anime Festa, which was held in November), a special announcement regarding the Black Clover manga from creator Yūki Tabata will be revealed. Tabata will be on stage, with Japanese idol, Honoka Akimoto. Will the surprise be the confirmation of a full TV anime series, or a live-action film?
A similar announcement was also teased for Jump Special Anime Festa, where a special, one-shot anime adaptation of Black Clover was screened. Studio XEBEC produced the special, which featured an original story, written by Tabata. Could the success of that event have led to a full blown anime series? However, the presence of Akimoto is leading some to believe that there's a chance that a live-action film could be announced instead.
