Recently, a brand new anime that celebrates the folklore of the Philippines, TRESE, was released on Netflix. The supernatural detective series has been a massive hit with fans and has even contributed to selling out the first volume of Budjette Tan (Writer) and KaJO Baldisimo's (Artist) manga.
The series released just before the upcoming Anime Expo Lite, which is a celebration of all things manga, anime and Japanese pop culture. Now, a brand new panel centering on the anime has been announced to be coming to the event.
The manga's publishing company, ABLAZE, is hosting the panel and will feature the mangas creators. Other creators for the anime such as Jay Oliva, the show's Executive Producer, Director and Showrunner, and ABLAZE co-founder Rich Young. The panel will be available during the VOD segment that starts from July 5, 2021, at 12:00 PM (PST) and runs thru July 16th.

The series is set in Manila where the mythical creatures of Philippine folklore live in hiding amongst humans.
