The first English dub episode of The Heike Story hit Funimation yesterday and with the rest soon to follow, we wanted to share a breakdown of the full cast and crew behind this new translation of the show!

The origins of The Heike Story date back beyond the 13th century, making it one of the oldest tales to be brought to life in anime form. Now, those who have been loving the newest iteration of the story are able to experience it in a brand new way.

Yesterday Funimation released the English dub of the first episode of The Heike Story, with the promise of the remaining installments to follow. Alongside the release was the official announcement of everyone involved behind the scenes from the cast to the crew, and we've gathered all of the talents' names for you below.

Xanthe Huynh voices Biwa, John Gremillion brings life to Shigemori, and Suzie Yeung portrays Tokuko. Meanwhile, Frank Todaro voices Kiyomori, Garrett Schenk is Go-Shirakawa, Anjali Kunapaneni is taking on the role of Sukemori, Randy Pearlman plays Tokitada, and Douglas Gill rounds out the cast as Koremori. Behind the scenes, Mike McFarland is credited as ADR Director, Jose Sandoval as ADR Engineer, and William Dewel as ADR Mix.
