The Overlord TV anime adaptation from Studio Madhouse originally concluded in October 2018 after three seasons (totaling 39 episodes), a 2016 OVA and a two-part 2017 anime film- leaving most fans to assume that there would be no further anime adaptations after the franchise lay dormant for so long.
