The Harvey Awards were livestreamed during this year's New York Comic-Con fan event and to no one's surprise, Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man took home top honors as the best manga of the year. Fujmoto took home the award, beating out Asadora! by Naoki Urasawa, Boys Run the Riot by Keito Gaku, Remina by Junji Ito, and Spy x Family by Tatsuya Endo.
Fujimoto provided the following thank you statement, which you can read below [via ANN]:
Thank you for the insanely awesome award! It's the best award of any awards that exist in America! I consider this crude manga of mine unbefitting of any award, but I plan to continue packing it full of all the things that I love.
If you ever happen to be handing out awards again, hit me up! Thank you very much!
