The popular Japanese light novel series The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is getting its own anime series! The announcement was made during GA Bunko's New Year Anime Festival, and they've released a teaser trailer and poster to celebrate!
The trailer, included below, is narrated by Manaka Iwami from Fruit Baskets. The new teaser video highlights her first meeting with Amane Fujimiya who is voiced by Taito Ban of Pretty Boy Detective Club. The story follows the budding romance between the two.
The voice cast also includes Taku Yashiro (Horimiya) and Haruka Shiraishi (Golden Kamuy).
The The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten anime is being directed by Kenichi Imaizumi at studio Project No.9 with character design by Takayuki and music by Moe Hyūga.
The anime is based upon the Japanese light novel series of the same name written by Saekistan and illustrated by Hanekoto. It was originally published online through Shōsetsuka ni Narō. SB Creative has released five volumes of the series under their GA Bunko label since 2019. The North American Enlish publishing rights belong to Yen Press. In It has also had a manga adaptation illustrated by Wan Shibata that was serialized on Square Enix's online manga magazine Manga Up!.
Mahiru is a beautiful girl whose classmates all call her an “angel.” Not only is she a star athlete with perfect grades—she’s also drop-dead gorgeous.
