About The Rising of the Shield Hero:

When he is summoned to the realm of Melromarc, nerdy university student Naofumi Iwatani moves from being a second-class citizen to being a second-class hero. Melromarc is modeled off a videogame.

In spite of the fact that he is the least powerful of the four heroes, he is given the responsibility of protecting the world from danger. But if Naofumi winds up being misled and humiliated from the very beginning, will this cynic even be willing to provide a helping hand?

In the second season of The Rising of the Shield Hero, Naofumi has come to the realization that other people are suffering and has sworn to fight for them. However, before he can be of assistance, he hears that the Spirit Tortoise has been let free. After assembling Raphtalia and Filo, they discover some terrifying news: this wasn't an accident. Someone let the legendary creature loose on purpose!
