Promotion for the July 28th Hideaki Anno co-directed Godzilla movie (Godzilla Resurgence internationally, Shin Gojira in Japan) is in full force as Japan 7-Elevens have begun promoting advanced ticket purchases with a limited edition Unit 01 color version Mechagodzilla figure.
Only 4,000 units of the Mechagodzilla figure were produced and it sold for 3,880 yen (with tax). The Unit 01 figure promptly sold out when tickets went on sale earlier today.
