The Mobile Suit Gundam franchise has captivated audiences with a taste for mecha action for decades with all sorts of titles ranging from Gundam Wing to Mobile Suit Gundam Seed. The latter is set to receive a new anime film and fans in the United States will have two opportunities to catch the premiere.
Those interested in checking out the newest installment of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise will be able to attend screenings in both LA and New York. The premiere will screen on March 31st with English subtitles and tickets will go on sale March 12th.
In New York fans can flock to the Japan Society and witness a special talk show with English Dub Cast Member Alyson Leigh Rosenfield and a special video message from Director Mitsuo Fukuda himself.
Those who claim either a standard or premium ticket will also receive a commemorative pass, lanyard, paper Rising Freedom and Immortal Justice visors, and a special bag alongside a HG 1/144 STRIKE FREEDOM GUNDAM model kit, a commemorative art print, and an illustration card, making this quite the interesting package deal for any Gundam pilot to take up.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles screening will be held at the L.A. Regal live theater where attendees will also experience a talk show with Japanese cast members Soichiro Hoshi and Rie Tanaka as well as the dub producers Michael Sintemiklass and Stephanie Sheh (who also voices Lacus Clyne in English).

C.E. (Cosmic Era). An era in which there are human beings called Coordinators, born with superior physical and mental abilities thanks to genetic modification, and humans called Naturals who are born naturally.
The "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series depicts the conflict between Coordinators and Naturals within this C.E. setting. "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" (2002~2003), set in the year C.E.71~, and "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY" (2004~2005), which depicted C.E.73~, were broadcast as TV animation. The story then continued in various other media.
Now "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," depicting an entirely new story set in C.E.75, will make its long-awaited theatrical debut in 2024!
