Two new Bleach novels are forthcoming, with one story focusing on Renji and Rukia while another focuses on Shūhei Hisagi, the Soul King and the Four Noble Houses.  The former will be written by Makoto Matsubara while the latter will be penned by Makoto Matsubara and is set for release sometime in 2017.  The news was confirmed on the 74th and final volume of Bleach, released this past Friday.

Shinsuke Sato is currently directing a live-action Bleach film which will star Sōta Fukushi as Ichigo Kurasaki.

Manga author Tite Kubo recently rejoined Twitter and revealed that he's a bit lost in his day-to-day life with no longer having to work on the next issue of his once-dominant shonen manga.  It will be interesting to see what Kubo does next to say the least.  With an estimated net worth of $50 million, Kubo doesn't necessarily need to do another manga series, at least not for financial reasons.
