2023 is shaping up to be a great year for anime fans! With popular anime veteran series such as Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen returning, as well as new ones that are worth checking out, there should be something for everyone, regardless of what type of anime you enjoy.
With that in mind, here is my list of the top 7 most anticipated anime series that are being released this year!
7. Record of Ragnarok (Season 2)

The anime's first season premiered during the Summer of 2021. The Record of Ragnarok anime is based from the manga, which was written by Takumi Fukui, Shinya Umemura, and Ajichika. The manga is being published by Viz Media with an English translation.
The upcoming season of Record of Ragnarok is going to be animated by Graphinica, the same studio that animated the first 12 episodes of the series as well as Hellsing Ultimate. The character designs are going to be done by Ajichika, who is the artist who worked on the manga.
Once every thousand years, the gods get together to decide what will happen to humanity. When the gods decide that humanity should be wiped out, the final struggle between them and the heroes of earthly existence, which is known as Ragnarok, will decide whether humanity will survive or not. Brunhilde, a Valkyrie, has been successful in her efforts to persuade the gods to allow humanity to compete in the battle arena of Valhalla.
6. Vinland Saga (Season 2)

Vinland Saga is a must-read if the Viking era interests you in any way. The first season of Vinland Saga Season 1 debuted in 2019, and it is also one of the best and most highly regarded anime series in recent memory. We can be confident that Season 2 of the Vinland Saga will be a far better experience with MAPPA in charge.
Thorfinn, the child of history's greatest warrior, is the subject of this epic quest. In this upcoming season, while he searches for the renowned country known as Vinland, which oversees the tale of atonement and salvation, he discovers meaning in his life.

In order to get revenge for his family and prevent his younger sister Nezuko from turning into a demon, Tanjirou Kamado, whose family was murdered by the demons, embarks on a quest to become a hunter known as a "Demon Slayer." 4. Jujutsu Kaisen (Season 2)

The official website has announced that Jujutsu Kaisen, whose first season debuted in the fall of 2020 and was among our best anime of that year, will return for a second season. The voice actor for Yuji Itadori, Junya Enoki, also made the announcement during a special ceremony.
The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori, a powerful exorcist who becomes entangled in the realm of Jujutsu sorcerers after becoming possessed by a strong cursed spirit. Then, he is transferred to the Jujutsu Tech, a school for Jujutsu sorcerers, where he learns how to harness and manage his magical abilities in order to battle demons and tormented spirits. Itadori and his companions learn the truth about the organization that deals with cursed spirits and the cursed spirits themselves as the plot develops.

Solo Leveling out is receiving the well-earned anime adaptation. The wildly popular South Korean web novel by Chugong, which was announced during Anime Expo 2022, will finally be published in 2023.
Solo Leveling is set in a fictional world where Hunters have access to mystical powers. The story revolves around one hunter who, at the beginning of the series, is the least powerful of them all. We'll take a look at the steps that led this guy to become the most powerful hunter of them all.
2. One Punch Man (Season 3)

The Japanese superhero franchise One Punch Man was developed by the artist ONE. In 2009, it debuted as a webcomic, and since then, manga and anime adaptations have been made of it. After almost three years since the conclusion of the second season, One-Punch Man Season 3 is finally happening.
The story focuses on Saitama, a hero with superhuman strength who can defeat any foe with a single blow. Saitama, despite having superhuman strength, is bored with the lack of challenge and is looking for a worthy opponent. The series is renowned for both its action-packed conflicts and funny and sarcastic take on the superhero concept.

Known as one of the most famous anime of all time, Attack on Titan has been a massive hit since its inception. And in January 2023, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3, the fourth season’s final episode will wrap off the epic series’s main plot.
The story follows Eren Yeager, whose mother was killed by a Titan attack, as he enlists in the military to combat them. Eren is a member of the Survey Corps, an elite unit of troops that battles Titans outside of the walls, along with his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert. The series has been adapted into an anime and several live-action films.
