It's time for Chainsaw Man to bring its blades to the stage! Tatsuki Fujimoto's wildly successful manga and anime series are getting that much closer to making their stage play debut with Chainsaw Man the Stage. Aya Hirano, who is known for playing Haruhi Suzumiya in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, made her acting debut as Makima in a 2.5 production. With the play premiering in just a few short months, the official cast list was revealed today! The script and direction for the Chainsaw Man the Stage will be handled by Fumiya Matsuzaki, who also directed and wrote the stage productions of Banana Fish, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Hakai ni Yoru Kakusei Re:(in)novation, and MANKAI STAGE A3!. The Kyoto portion of the stage production goes from October 6 to 9, while the Tokyo leg runs from September 16 to October 1 at the Tennozu Galaxy Theater.
