All the clichés and traditional components of a Japanese crime thriller are present in Ryuko Volumes 1 and 2, yet everything is turned on its head! A high-ranking member of the Japanese mafia stationed in the Middle East, Ryuko is a hard-hitting motorcycle rider. She engages in conflict with the government for a while before joining an unidentified terrorist group. But as her mother is taken hostage, things start to affect Ryuko personally.

You can hear what Eldo Yoshimizu has to say as he was interviewed by FPTV, a YouTube program for the renowned retailer Forbidden Planet:

Ryuko Volumes 1 and 2 are available via Amazon (US) and Forbidden Planet (UK/Europe) as graphic novels and as a box set.

Keep checking back for more on Eldo Yoshimizu's Ryuko Volume 3 soon. For the most recent information on Titan Comics releases, go to www.titan-comics.com.
