Lost Eden, Eclipse, and Oz are three vampires who try to outperform the others with their singing abilities to obtain unrivaled power. As weird as that sounds, it is the plot of Aniplex's latest original series Visual Prison.

Touted as a supernatural musical anime series, Visual Prison joined the rest of Funimation's 2021 Fall line-up this week. Coming from Aniplex, the studio responsible for Sword Art Online and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, fans are bound to flock to the new title despite the outrageous synopsis.

The talented voice cast for Visual Prison includes Shoya Chiba (Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun, 86) as Ange Yuki and Makoto Furukawa (Kaguya-sama: Love is War, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) as Guiltia Brion. Meanwhile, Eve Louise is voiced by Hiroki Nanami (Kageki Shojo!!, Somali and the Forest Spirit), and Robin Laffite is brought to life by voice actress Shun Horie (Akudama Drive, Sarazanmai).

What do you guys think? Is a supernatural vampire musical up your alley, or will you be skipping this one? Regardless of your thoughts, be sure to check out the trailer and synopsis for Visual Prison below and sound off in the usual spot!

Once a year, visual kei groups gather in Harajuku for a faceoff. But as Ange is about to find out, there may be more than meets the eye.

Episode 1 of Visual Prison is now streaming on Funimation.
