Director James Wong is attached to direct the live-action "Dragonball Z" movie

News of a live-action "Dragonball Z" movie has leaked out and the project will be coming from Director James Wong ("Final Destination," "The One"). Wong will write and direct with production beginning in November in Canada.

Also proving the project is in moving forward casting notices have gone out for the following characters: Goku, Bulma, Yamcha, Master Roshi, Mai, Lord Piccolo, Chi Chi and Gohan.
