Koyoharu Gotogue's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series has become one of the most beloved manga and anime franchises in the world, and to earn that is an amazing feat all on its own. Now, with a season of an anime completed and the manga finally concluded, there is still so much more than the franchise has to offer.
One of the most exciting continuations to the story that is on the way is a brand new film titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie - Mugen Train, which will pick up after the first season of the series and feature a whole new story. With every new film, there must also come a brand new theme song, and the creators knew exactly who to call.
LiSA is a wildly popular singer in Japan who sang the theme to the anime "Gurenge," which was a hit on its own, long after the anime stopped airing. Now, she is back with a brand new song for the film called "Homura." She has even released a full video of the song that can be seen below!
With the same energy as the anime's theme song, this new tune is sure to be just as successful. We would love to hear your thoughts on the new song and the film in the comments below!
Tanjirou Kamado and his friends from the Demon Slayer Corps accompany Kyoujurou Rengoku, the Flame Hashira, to investigate a mysterious series of disappearances occurring inside a train. Little do they know that Enmu, one of the Twelve Kizuki, is also on board and has prepared a trap for them.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie - Mugen Train will release in Japan on October 16th and LiSA's newest album, which features the film's theme, on October 14th!
