FUNimations rights to streaming and distribution for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009) expired in March and it will soon lose rights to the 2003 anime series as well. Aniplex quickly acquired the rights to Brotherhoood and many fans expect them to do the same for its predecessor. This is a rather notable development as Aniplex box sets tend to be on the expensive side. Copies are already selling out at the more popular online retailers.
Innocence and flesh were sacrificed when two young brothers ignored the laws of Alchemy in an attempt to resurrect their mother. The horrors they recklessly unleashed that night marked the beginning of a journey that leads from darkness to light and back.
