Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Generations™ will launch in North America on July 15 for the Nintendo 3DS™ family of systems. Fans of the popular action RPG series will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the adventure with the New Nintendo 3DS XL Monster Hunter Generations Edition (pictured below), which is launching on the same day. Apparently the game will need to be purchased seperately from the new hardware offering as the game isn't pre-installed or bundled with the new hardware, unlike the European edition.

Capcom has also announced that there will be a Monster Hunter Generations playable demo released via the Nintendo eShop before the game's release this summer. They have promised more details at a later date.

Monster Hunter Generations is the newest installment in the popular Monster Hunter action RPG series, which has sold more than 36 million units worldwide. This is the most customizable Monster Hunter experience to date, and it serves as a fitting tribute to the last decade of the series with a blend of brand new areas and monsters, and returning fan-favorites that have been updated and adapted to the newest generation of gameplay.
