New TWIN STAR EXORCISTS Promo Video Previews The Upcoming Original Arc

The current Twin Star Exorcist anime adaptation from Studio Pierrot has gotten a little too close to current plot of Yoshiaki Suken's ongoing manga so the studio will launch an original, anime only story to create some separation.

Twin Star Exorcists is getting ready to embark on an important shonen anime right of passage.  Starting next Wednesday, the Studio Pierrot production will kick off its first filler arc.  The  anime-original story arc is titled,  "Rettō Ha Ran-hen" (Archipelago Battle for Supremacy Arc) and will debut the full lineup of The 12 Heavenly Commanders. Check out a preview below.


The Twin Star Exorcist episode count currently stands at 21 after premiering in April during the Spring Anime season.  Megumi Han voices Benio while Natsuki Hanae voices Rokuro.


SYNOPSIS

Grotesque monsters known as Impurities reside in Magano, a realm parallel to the present day. Exorcists purify these evil apparitions to protect the people. Rokuro Enmado is opposed to becoming an exorcist, even though he has the talent to be one, but an oracle gives him the title of "Twin Star Exorcist," the name bestowed upon married exorcists. Benio Adashino, the girl who receives the title along with Rokuro, is determined to exorcise all the Kegare, or Impurities, in the world. The two find themselves wrapped up in more and more battles together as the Twin Star Exorcists...
