Initially Rave Master will be part of the new Toonami Saturday night lineup. In August the Rave Master anime series will be aired daily from Monday through Friday, perhaps indicating that the new daily Meguzi Block will not remain anime-free for too long.
Rave Master is one of several newly introduced anime properties with considerable potential. The manga series published by Tokyopop has already done very well here in the U.S., and Hasbro is preparing a line of Rave Master toys and games. In spite of considerable competition from a host of other anime/manga properties, Rave Master could take off in a big way and certainly bears watching.
