Yasuhiro Nightow's Trigun Maximum manga has anounced a 2009 Trigun theatrical animation film. "Trigun the Movie" project will be an original story from Nightow and Trigun series director Satoshi Nishimura with a script by Yasuko Kobayashi
Also involved in the project is Takahiro Yoshimatsu from the Trigun television series to design the characters animated by Madhouse.
The story is said to follow "Vash vs. Wolfwood," the two main characters of the popular manga.
