Crunchyroll recently announced that they've secured simulcast streaming rights from Toei Animation and that starting this Saturday at 9PM EST, they'll begin airing Dragon Ball Super with episode 63. Daisuki and AnimeLab will also begin airing Dragon Ball Super episodes this Saturday as well.
In addition to episode 63, the previous episodes from the Future Trunks arc (which began at episode 47) will also be made available. Crunchyroll wil then release 10 previous episodes (episodes 1 to 10 then 11 to 20, etc.) per week starting on October 30.
On Crunchyroll, Super will be available for both free and premium subscribers.
Many anime fans are speculating that this deal may be the first sign of dividends from the Crunchyroll x Funimation collaboration as Funimation typically handles Dragon Ball English-dubs. Whether this is actually the case or not, this is still huge news and a major victory for CR.
