The anime film adaptation of Shuhei Miyazaki's Me & Roboco TV anime series just made the big announcement that it will be debuting in the winter of 2024, according to the series' official accounts. The TV anime ended on a "cliffhanger" involving Bondo and Roboco, which was addressed in the official announcement teaser uploaded to YouTube. This week's chapter of the manga highlighted Roboco's journey to the big screen in celebration of the announcement.

The TV animation was directed by Akitaro Daichi (Tonkatsu DJ Agetaro) at Studio Gallop (Initial D, Kodocha). The series composition writer Sayuro Ooba (FIRST LOVE MONSTER), the character designer Yuko Ebara (animation director for Delicious Party Pretty Cure), and the assistant director Michihiro Sato are other essential personnel. Beginning in July 2020, Weekly Shonen Jump will begin serializing the Me & Roboco manga.
