Screenings will be in Japanese with English subtitles.
The first film originally opened in Japanese theaters in January and the second is slated to open on August 19.
Kizumonogatari is the third volume of NisiOisin's Monogatari book series but is actually a flashback and serves as a prequel to the events of Bakemonogatari and reveals how Koyomi Araragi acquired his vampire abilities from Shinobu Oshino.
In the 2012 anime, which was simulcast on Crunchyroll, the events of Kizumonogatari are briefly shown in a sizzle reel flashback in the opening moments of episode 01.
