Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Familia Myth, also known as DanMachi, is a fantasy manga that has spawned over eleven manga volumes and even a has a spin-off series, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Sword Oratoria that has gone on to find success, will be releasing their first feature film later this year.

Both stories revolve around characters that live in cities which feature the Dungeon, which holds all sorts of monsters big and small.  As a play on the JRPG, or Japanese Role Playing Games, other characters venture to the city and try to defeat these monsters to gain valuable crystals, which can be used to craft magical items or other treasures, or can even be used to trade for currency.  Some of these people join Familias, groups or clans named after and tied to a specific diety, who represent higher levels based on the achievements of the people in the groups.

There is no official synopsis for the film, or neither for the upcoming Season 2 of the DanMachi: Familia Myth title.
