Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the upcoming prequel film for the popular anime television series Jujutsu Kaisen, has just had some new charcter artwork drop from Studio MAPPA!
In September the studio released a first look at the fan-favorite Jujutsu Tech teacher Satoru Gojo (included below). The artwork featured a younger Gojo showing off one bright blue eye from underneath his white blindfold, rather than the dark cloth fans are accustomed to that happens to cover both eyes.
The recently released character artwork includes Yuta Okkotsu, who will serve as the main protaganist of the film, as well as Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda. Maki and Inumaki's looks have been slightly altered, especially their hair.
The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film is based upon Volume 0 of the manga series. It follows Yuta Okkotsu who enrolls at Jujutsu Tech at the urgin of instructor Satoru Gojo. Will first year student Yuta learn to wield cursed energy to free himself of the dangerous spirit of his late childhood friend that's been plaguing him?
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is set to land in Japanese theaters on December 24th, 2021.
