We have some exciting news for Dragon Ball fans! Bandai Namco Entertainment America began streaming a trailer for Season 2 of the Dragon Ball: The Breakers eight-person online multiplayer game on Tuesday. In the trailer, it is shown that Vegeta will be participating in the game as a raider, and that Yajirobe, Chi-Chi, and King Furry will each have survivor skins. When playing as the raider Vegeta, players also get access to Nappa. This Thursday marks the beginning of the second season.
In addition, new Transpheres for Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Teen Gohan will be introduced in the second season. In addition to that, there will be a whole new map of Rocky Field and things that may be customized.
Bandai Namco Entertainment's website describes the game:
Caught in an unexpected temporal phenomenon, seven ordinary citizens find themselves stranded in a Temporal Seam: they share their imprisonment with the Raider, a menacing enemy from another timeline with an overwhelming power.
Their only hope for survival is to break out from the Temporal Seam with the Super Time Machine, but the Raider is on their tracks and becomes stronger by the minute. In a race against time the cunning of Survivors clashes with the power of the Raider, to break free or be broken.
Check out the newly released trailer for the second season!
On October 14, the game was released all around the world on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers through Steam (Japan on October 13).
The game is an asymmetrical action game in which seven regular players, known as "Survivors," compete against an eighth player, known as the "Raider." The Raider will assume the shape of a well-known character from the Dragon Ball series, like as Cell, Buu, or Frieza, in order to accomplish his mission of eliminating the Survivors.
The Survivors, who have been pulled into a seam known as "The Temporal," do not possess any special abilities. Instead, they make use of various objects, weapons, and vehicles to battle the Raider and evade it while hunting for the Super Time Machine, which will allow them to escape. Survivor avatars come with a mode that allows for character customisation, and players have the option of either using in-game credits or making in-game purchases to acquire skins and equipment for their Survivor avatars.
