The Quintessential Quintuplets is a romantic comedy series about a young man with the luxury, or misfortune, of having to tutor five sisters who have no interest in learning anything; they are also his classmates. As usual, hilarity and shenanigans ensue as he tries his best to make sure these girls pass.
With the release of the manga in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2017, readers were introduced to five equally fun and interesting sisters and how they interact with the main characters. Due to the success, an anime was coming down the pipeline and released last year to massive success. Now, a second season is on the way!
As the release date inches closer, the creators have been releasing some fun character trailers for the series; however, no one at the time could confirm if the show would be coming to the West; that is until now! According to Funimation, the series has been confirmed that it will be coming out on their streaming service!
The release will be coming a bit after the Japanese premiere, so it doesn't look like there will be a simulcast. We would love to hear your thoughts about the news and show it in the comments below!
