Japanese publisher Shueisha and its Jump brand have for a long time defined a big chunk of the manga business. They continue to push into all kinds of brand-new sectors, including a range of publication media and even video games! The firm made the announcement over this past weekend that their newest business endeavor would be a vertical reading service known as JUMP TOON, which is anticipated to arrive some time next year.

The first JUMP TOON AWARD was also presented, and the winner would enjoy serialization on the service in addition to one million yen in prize money (about $7,120). The award will be evaluated by Takanori Asada, who is the editor-in-chief of the Jump Comics magazine. The application period will end at the end of August, and the winners will be notified at the beginning of October.
