If it is one thing that creators from Japan have an uncanny knack for its creating fantastic and outrageous worlds and then make a hilarious slice of life series within it, showing that no matter how crazy things get, everyone still has day to day issues to deal with. Creators Zappon and Yasumo have done just that with their light novel series Banished from the Heroes' Party.
The series follows a young man who used to work with a party of heroes that defended their world from villains; however, once he is kicked out, he decides to lead a quiet life running an apothecary. This all ends up becoming exceedingly more difficult as a young girl named Rit decides she wants to move in with him. The light novel's success later spawned a manga adaption of the series by Masahiro Ikeno and has released its fifth compiled volume.
Now, the manga's publisher Kadokawa has confirmed that an anime based on the seires is in the works! There is still a lot to iron out, and there is no word on a studio or voices yet, but with how fast these shows can be made, fans can expect some updates sometime soon!
