Video games are meant to be an escape from the normal and sometimes boring world around us. However, that doesn't always make video games an easy thing to play, but no matter how difficult a game can be, nothing is more difficult to get the hang of than life itself.
Based on the Yuki Yaku's light novel series, Bottom-Tier Character Tomokazi, the new anime based on the book tells the story of a young man named Tomokazi, who is a master gamer but finds life to be the most unfair game of all. The story really picks up speed when he meets a young girl who is also a gamer but gives him some valuable cheat codes for the game of life.
The new anime may not be hitting screens until next year, but a brand new teaser is already streaming! The shows opening and ending themes were also announced, with the OP being titled "Jinsei Easy?" (Life Is on Easy Mode?) and Ending, "Ayafuwa Asterisk,"; both being performed by DIALOGUE+.
The new show looks to have both humor and heart, and maybe a few life lessons along the way. Make sure to check out the new teaser below, and we would love to hear your thoughts in the usual spot!
Tomozaki is one of the best gamers in Japan, and in his opinion, the game of real life is one of the worst. No clear-cut rules for success, horribly balanced, and nothing makes sense. But then he meets a gamer who's just as good as him, and she offers to teach him a few exploits…
Bottom-Tier Character Tomokazi will premiere in January of next year!
