Nicknamed "the new Miyazaki", director Makoto Shinkai is definitely living up to that compliment as his latest release, Kimi no Na wa? (Your Name?). The film currently ranks #6 on the all-time higest grossing films at the Japanese box office and currently shows no signs of slowing down. In an ironic twist, Your Name? is expected to soon surpass Hayao Miyazaki's 2008 film
Gake no Ue no Ponyo which currenlty sits at #5.
