Sakuma-kun, the mascot of the &sauna YouTube channel, which explores saunas around Japan, will soon get its very own TV anime adaptation! Totonoe! Sakuma-kun by &sauna is the upcoming TV anime, which will be following the everyday life of a sauna-loving family. The unique thing about this family is they are a family of bears!
Kaori Maeda, who will be playing the role of Sakuma-kun, one of the Totonoe! Sakuma-kun by &sauna anime's main characters, released the following statement about her overall experience so far with the anime's creation:
I'm Kaori Maeda, who plays the role of Sakuma-kun in "Totonoe! Sakuma-kun by &sauna" . This time, as a spin-out project of the Youtube sauna channel "&sauna", a TV anime starring Sakuma-kun, a bear who loves saunas, will begin. I often go to the sauna with my fellow voice actors after work, and we enjoy the sauna life by taking a break and eating after taking a sauna. The highlight of the anime is that it is a soft and fluffy anime that conveys the fun and wonderfulness of saunas, and there are occasional snippets and many points that will make you laugh. Please look forward to it.

Starting on November 12, Totonoe! Sakuma-kun by &sauna will be aired in Japan on UHB Hokkaido Cultural Broadcasting on Sundays at 11:45 a.m. Episodes will also be streamed on the &sauna YouTube account to reach fans that are outside of the Japanese broadcasting network.
