With the Anime of the Year awards coming up this next month, we thought we would take some time to re-introduce our readers to the nominees! The first nominee we decided to cover was the fan-favorite Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2. Throughout the series, the story line follows Eren Yeager, whose mother was killed by a Titan attack, as he enlists in the military to combat them. Eren is a member of the Survey Corps, an elite unit of troops that battles Titans outside of the walls, along with his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert.
Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2: The war for Paradis zeroes in on Shiganshina just as Jaegerists have seized control. After taking a huge blow from a surprise attack led by Eren, Marley swiftly acts to return the favor. With Zeke’s true plan revealed and a military forced under new rule, this battle might be fought on two fronts. Does Eren intend on fulfilling his half-brother’s wishes or does he have a plan of his own?

Attack on Titan's final season originally began airing in December of 2020 in Japan, and concluded its broadcast on March 29th of this year with a promo teasing the 76th episode (included below). WIT STUDIO animated the first three season of the series and handed over the reigns for the fourth and final season of the anime to studio MAPPA.
The Attack on Titan anime series, which first aired in September of 2013, is based upon the Japanese manga of the same name. The manga series was written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama and takes place in a world where humanity lives inside cities that are protected by three enormous walls. The walls protect them from giant man-eating humanoids referred to as "Titans". The story follows Eren Yeager, who has vowed to exterminate the Titans after witnessing the destruction of his hometown and death of his mother.
The "Final Arc", the last series of the anime, is expected to release March 4th, and is expected to be the shows finale season.
