Kohei Horikoshi's now-legendary manga and anime series My Hero Academia has become one of the biggest worldwide phenomenons since Naruto! With multiple chapters, video games, a toy line, and of course, movies, the franchise has become a staple of modern pop culture.
One of its most recent films to have released has been My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising. Upon release, the film was a massive hit and spent a lot of the focus on the series rivals Deku and Bakugo; with amazing action sequences and a lot of heart, the movie has become a must see for any fans of the series.
Now, thanks to Funimation, the film is finally making its way to a home video release in the west! With the release, there are a ton of fun exclusives depending on which place the movie is purchased. Funimation plans to include an Exclusive 25th Anniversary Silver Chrome All Might Funko POP! with any purchase from the Funimation shop. Best Buy is selling an exclusive steelbook of the film as well, while Walmart plans to include an exclusive Deku figpin!
There are a lot of options when the time comes to purchase the new film, but ultimately the film is so great it would be no surprise if anyone bought all three versions! We would love to hear your thoughts on the news in the comments below!
The number one hero anime is back for a battle beyond anything fans have ever seen! Class 1-A visits Nabu Island where they finally get to do some real hero work. The place is so peaceful that it’s more like a vacation … until they’re attacked by a villain with an unfathomable Quirk! His power is eerily familiar, and it looks like Shigaraki had a hand in the plan. But with All Might retired and citizens’ lives on the line, there’s no time for questions. Deku and his friends are the next generation of heroes, and they’re the island’s only hope.
My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising is coming to Blu-ray, DVD, and digital on October 27th!
