YU-GI-OH! GO RUSH!! Anime Announces 2 New Characters

The anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! announced that they will be adding 2 new characters to their series' line up this April, along with a new band being added to play the shows theme song!

We have some new updates for the anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!! The anime series that officially launched back in April 2022, announced two new cast members, as well as a new theme song artist. The new theme song artist and characters will be making their debuts this April! 

For the new opening theme, Reck band BRADIO, well known for their Death Parade OP "FLYERS," will perform "Soul Galaxy," while Run with the Wind's Taichi Mukai will perform "Cosmos" for the closing theme.

Take a peak at the newly released character illustrations below along with the voice actors who will be playing them! The characters were originally announced this past December at Jump Festa.

Crunchyroll desribes the series' storyline:

Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! takes place in Rokuyo-cho, the birthplace of the Rush Duel. One day, Yuhi Oudou and Yuamu Oudou, two elementary school siblings who run a UTS (Uchuzin Trouble Soudansho / Alien Trouble Consultation Office) to get rid of annoying aliens, discover a spaceship, and when they step into it, they find an alien named Yudias Belgyar (This spelling may not be correct), who comes from the faraway Belgyar Cluster. He has come to Earth in search of the Rush Duel, which is said to lead his friends to a new future after they were forced to leave their home planet, but he has no idea what the Rush Duel is. Yuhi decides to give him a hand and challenges Yudias to a duel. 

Yu-Gi-Oh! participant Nobuhiro Kondo returns. Yu-Gi-Oh! will be directed by SEVENS. Hurry up! Naoto Hashimoto is the assistant director and Toshimitsu Takeuchi is the series composer at anime studio Bridge. The new season will be officially premiering via TV Tokyo on April 3 at 7:30 am.
