Today, the first four character digi-posters for the upcoming anime film Digimon Adventure 02: THE BEGINNING were revealed. The posters feature DigiDestined from the second generation paired up with their DNA Digivolved, also known as Jogress Evolution, partners with very orby backgrounds, as well as the mysterious Lui Ohwada and Ukkomon.

The previously release trailer for the film depicts the six chosen children, including Daisuke Motomiya, maturing over the course of the story, while the Digimon remain the same as they were before. A caption on the image asks, "What if irreplaceable 'bonds' are created?" This is a troubling question. And a mysterious young man by the name of Rui Owada is quoted as saying, "Humans and Digimon should never meet" and "They are beings that make each other unhappy." In addition to this line, the movie depicts the world descending into chaos when a gigantic digital egg that emerged atop Tokyo Tower hatched. This event takes place after the egg hatches.

The director of the film, Tomohisa Taguchi, released the following statement:
The reason I started this story was when we started talking about "Future Digimon Adventures." Digimon Adventure has a predetermined future and many stories that connect to it. We have discussed with the producers and many other staff members what kind of story the selected children need. With the 02 members as the main characters, we have created a story that only they can save. A completely different story from "Las Evo". A story that only the members of "02" can lead. The new character "Louis" that appears there has a very important role in Digimon Adventure.
