Video game publisher Tilting Point and developer AN Games have revealed announced a new strategy mobile game based on the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise.

Titled Avatar Legends: Realms Collide, the new mobile game "brings together characters from the Avatarverse – Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, and the best-selling comic books and novels – in an epic battle to restore balance and harmony to a world that is threatened by a dangerous cult devoted to Father Glowworm, a dark entity from the Spirit World."

Arriving alongside today's announcement is an intro cinematic trailer that delves into the details of the game's background story. Written by Tim Hedrick, who served as a writer  on both Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of KorraAvatar Legends: Realms Collide is set during a time of peace and harmony between nations. But a new sinister threat has emerged in the heart of the continent — Father Glowworm, the dark entity from the Spirit World who was first introduced in The Rise of Kyoshi novel.

"In Avatar Legends: Realms Collide you will become a Leader, making decisions that shape the fate of the Avatar world. Recruit and train legendary heroes like Aang, Zuko, Toph, and Korra to build a powerful army," the game's description reads. "Form alliances with players globally, combining strengths and strategies to face Father Glowworm and his barbarian horde. Expand and upgrade your base into a fortified city, essential for resource generation and hero unlocking. Choose your element—Water, Earth, Fire, or Air—and use unique advantages to conquer enemies and restore balance to the world."

As a strategy game, players will make pivotal decisions that result in distinct gameplay advantages. Players will unleash and train legendary heroes like Aang, Zuko, Toph, Katara and more, while building and expanding their base into a fortified city. To protect the world's harmony from the malevolent spirit and his followers, players will also need to form alliances with world leaders.
