Arc System Works has been releasing somewhat regular trailers for the upcoming Guilty Gear - Strive -, which have mostly introduced players to some of the fighters that will be part of its roster; most of which are, actually, returning characters from previous entries.
Unfortunately, news about the game itself are rather scarce. In fact, we don't even know when it is supposed to release, as the developers' tentative release window is "late in 2020"; or that's what they initially revealed, rather, as they've got news for fans of the series.
Arc System Works has just revealed that Guilty Gear - Strive - is being pushed back, and will no longer be releasing this year. The good news is that the game is now expected to launch early in 2021, although they won't say exactly when.
That's not all, as the developer has also confirmed that the game is not only releasing on PlayStation 4, as a PlayStation 5 and PC(Steam) versions of Guilty Gear - Strive - have been officially confirmed to be in development.
As if that wasn't enough, Arc System Works has just released a new gameplay trailer for Guilty Gear - Strive -, which give us our first look at newcomer Giovanna. On top of this, the developer also confirms that 15 characters will be available at launch, and that two more are yet to be revealed.
UPDATE: Arc System Works has, since, revealed that Guilty Gear - Strive - will be officially launching on Friday the 9th of April, while the Deluxe and Ultiamte editions of the game will launch on Tuesday the 6th of April. New official trailer, which has been now included down below, has also been released.
