Following the airing of the final episode of the fourth season of the popular anime adaptation of Date A Live, the announcement of the upcoming fifth season of Date A Live was made. Today, the first teaser trailer and visual for Date A Live V was made public, along with the confirmation that the original staff and cast will be returning for the new season!

GEEKTOYS veteran Jun Nakagawa is back at the helm of the series, and character designer Naoto Nakamura and music composer Go Sakabe are also bringing their experience back with them. Date A Live V will feature Fumihiko Shimo's continued work as the series' composer, as well as the return of the original cast members from the show's first four seasons.
The cast and staff of the franchise, including the original creator, also populated a special signboard to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the franchise! Check it out below!
Crunchyroll previously streamed the fourth season as it aired in Japan last year, alongside streaming the first three seasons, and describes the series as such:
Ordinary high school boy Shido discovers a mysterious girl at ground zero of a recent spacequake. Shido learns, through his sister Kotori, that the girl is one of the Spirits: mystical creatures responsible for the spacequakes. Shido is recruited to help “seal” the sprits and end their threat to mankind. There’s just one catch: the only way to seal a spirit—is to make her fall in love with you.
