Yesterday, Titan Comics announced a new partnership with Bandai Namco at NYCC 2016 which will give rise to new Tekken Comics featuring the likes of  Heihachi Mishima, Yoshimitsu, Nina Williams and Paul Phoenix!

In a press release, Titan Comics editor, Jessica Burton stated, "Tekken is one of the most exciting games on the market, and as a lifelong fan, I can't wait to delve more into these characters' thrilling stories!  The incredible visuals and fighting pace are sure to make a brilliant transition into comics, one we're delighted to be adding to our games line!"

A creative team has yet to be revealed but Titan confirmed a 2017 release date which will presumablycoincide  with Tekken 7's release on PS4, Xbox One and PC.  The ninth installment in the fighting game series was released in Japanese arcades in early-2015 and Bandai has recently confirmed that it will be ported to current-gen consoles in Q1 2017.
