Higurashi Gets Second Season

Coming in July the series Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Why they Cry: Higurashi) continues with a sequel Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai .

The series first permiered as an anime in April 2006, now it's second season is coming and being called Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai. "Ni Kai" is as a pun that can mean "second time" As the series continues the story is being written with help from the original series creator Ryuukishi 07 and Kon Chiaki is directing. 27 Episodes are slated for the season for TV Kanagawa, TV Chiba and other UHF outlets.
