A brand new film is coming to theaters in Japan titled Josee, the Tiger, and the Fish and tells a story about a friendship between two people that under any different circumstances may not have met. Initially, the film was meant to release this past summer; however, due to COVID-19, the release was delayed to this winter.
The film follows the friendship of a young college student who spends time with a talented young lady who sadly is unable to get out much since she is restricted to a wheelchair. The movie is littered with vibrant and exciting visuals along with a lovely soundtrack.
Recently a new trailer was released that features a ton of new footage that previews the brand new insert song "Shinkai" by Eve. There is still a lot to see before the release of the new film this winter, but there are still more than enough surprises saved for the release.
The new film is sure to be a hit for fans of the slice of the lifestyle of storytelling. We would love to hear your thoughts on the new trailer and song in the comments below!
The film's story centers on the relationship between Tsuneo and Josee. Tsuneo is a university student, and Josee is a young girl who has rarely gone out of the house by herself due to her being unable to walk. The two meet when Tsuneo finds Josee's grandmother taking her out for a morning walk.
Josee, the Tiger, and the Fish is set to release on December 25th in Japan!
