Afro's Laid-Back Camp is a manga and anime that the world needs now more than ever, especially with the stressful climate that the world is in right now. That is because the series's main premise is all about relaxing and releasing all of the built-up stress that the world can impose on one another. The manga launched in 2015 in the pages of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Forward and has since become a huge hit with readers.
Since the release of the manga and the success that has followed, the series has had a successful first season of an anime and released a season to a live-action adaption as well, which is planning to release a second season next year. Now, with the new season only a couple of months away, the promo videos and marketing for the season have been kicked into high gear!
Recently, a brand new promo video for the show's new season was released that confirms both the season's opening and ending theme. The OP will be performed by Asaka and is titled "Seize the Day," while the ending them will be performed by Eri Sasaki and is titled "Haru no Tonari" (Next to Spring)! Both artists are also returning from the first season.
With so much news coming for Laid-Back Camp, now is the best time to catch up on any content that may have been missed from the manga or any of the shows! We would love to hear your thoughts on the new video in the comments below!
The "slow outdoor manga" follows two young women. Rin likes to go camping by herself along the lakes that provide a scenic view of Mt. Fuji. Nadeshiko loves to take cycling trips by herself to places where she can see Mt. Fuji. After they meet, Rin and Nadeshiko take camping trips, eat cup ramen together, and enjoy the scenery.
The second season of Laid-Back Camp is coming to Japan in January of 2021!
