To say that the live action Attack on Titan film was sub par may be an understatement. A lot of the hates stems from the looks of the Titans... who were less than stellar and called "mutated cows" by some fans. The live action film also isn't as deverse as FUNimation's anime. Though there were some people that did like the movie, most people wanted the creators to get back to the anime. There possibly is, however, a good base set for future Attack on Titan live action films.
Live Action Synopsis:
When the Titans first attacked, life for mankind was forever changed. Fearing the massive man-eating humanoids, survivors constructed three enormous walls for protection. From that point on, humanity lived safely behind the walls—but that peace couldn’t last forever.
