KLab's hit 3D action game Bleach: Brave Souls is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles this summer.

Currently available on smartphones, PC, and PS4, Bleach: Brave Souls game supports English, Japanese, French, and Traditional Chinese, and will be playable globally — excluding mainland China and other specific regions — for those with access to the Nintendo eShop and the Microsoft Store.

Based on the popular manga and anime series, Bleach: Brave Souls allows you to build a team of powerful characters pulled from the Bleach universe and various collaborations — of which there are 600 to choose from — and take part in exhilarating 3D battles to become the strongest. Combat consists of free-flowing fast-paced hack-and-slash action, payable in single-player or with friends in online co-op. As Bleach: Brave Souls originated as a mobile game, the gameplay is performed with pretty simplistic controls, making it approachable for all.

As you play, you'll relive the Bleach story — from the moment Rukia and Ichigo first meet. As you progress by completing quests, you'll develop your characters and recreate pivotal scenes from the story. For those who want more action, you can participate in weekly PvP leagues or go online and team up with others to complete PvE Co-Op Quests and Epic Raids.

Bleach: Brave Souls also features an in-depth and flexible character improvement system, allowing you to build a unique team that features combinations of characters you would never see in the original story. With practically limitless possibilities, you can create your dream team of warriors. As you battle, you'll earn experience to level up each character and improve their base stats, Ascend them to increase their max level, and train them on the Soul Tree to further improve specific stats.

Bleach: Brave Souls has been available on mobile since 2016, PC since 2020, and PS4 since 2022. Even as a free-to-play game— which are often marred by GACHA mechanics and microtransactions — Bleach: Brave Souls has been hailed as a top-notch hack-n-slash with an impressive array of content. For those who are fans of the Bleach franchise, this is going to be a must-play when it arrives on Nintendo Switch and Xbox. Support will be provided for Xbox One with backwards compatibility available for the Xbox Series X|S.

Even all these years later, Bleach: Brave Souls continues to receive updates and new content. The latest new feature to be added is the Achievements system, which rewards players with special points for completing various challenges. Players can earn unlock permanent "Brave Bonuses" that grant permanent effects such as claiming Spirit Orbs, Essence Scrolls, Super Link Slot Potions, and more.

Bleach is an incredibly popular manga that ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 2001 to 2016. Since its debut, over 130 million copies have been sold worldwide. The manga was adapted into an anime series that aired in Japan from 2004 until 2012. There were also four feature films made.

In 2022, the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime series was released, adapting the manga's final story arc. So far, two parts have been released with Part 3, Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War - The Conflict, scheduled to premiere in 2024.
