12/22/03 (Tokyo, Japan) - To commemorate the anime movie release of Inu Yasha - The Sword of World Conquest, an Inu Yasha train will run on Japan's Yurikamome monorail line to help further promote the movie. The Yurikamome line is a special monorail system that starts at Tokyo's Shinbashi Station and runs over Tokyo Bay to the Odaiba area.
Released by Toho, Inu Yasha - The Sword of World Conquest is the third movie that originated from the popular manga series by Rumiko Takahashi. This movie is an original story not based from the manga or TV anime series and was produced by Shogakukan Productions. The story concentrates on Inu Yasha, his brother, Sesshoumaru, and their past. The story features an intense battle between the siblings over a new sword that grants its owner with the ultimate power.
Inu Yasha - The Sword of World Conquest was officially released on December 20, 2003 in Japan. The special Inu Yasha train will run on the Yurikamome line until January 8, 2004.
