Live-Action ReLIFE Film Announced - Will Have Original Ending

Imagine if you could go back in time a relive your carefree high school days? What things would you do differently? That's the premise (at least partly) of Yayoiso's ongoing science-fiction seinen manga, ReLIFE.

Arata Kaizak is a 27-year-old college graduate, who's currently unemployed.  However, that wasn't always the case.  Upon graduating, Kaizak secured a job and even had a great mentor to show him the ropes.  But something tragic occurred and Arata is without a job, low on funds and just recently cutoff from financial assistance from his parents.  Enter ReLIFE and their experimental drug which provides a great opportunity for Kaizak.

An anime premiered during the Summer 2016 season, taking a page out of Netflix's playbook and streaming all 13 episdoes at once via Crunchyroll.

Taishi Nakagawa will play Arata Kaizak.   Yūna Taira portrays Chizuru Hishiro.  Takeshi Furusawa directs.




SYNOPSIS: The story follows Kaizaki Arata, a 27-year-old jobless man, who fails at every job interview he had after quitting his last company. His life changes after he met Yoake Ryou of the ReLife Research Institute, who offered him a drug that can change his appearance to 17-years-old and to become a subject in an experiment for one year. Thus, he begins his life as a high school student once more.
