In June, it was confirmed that
Studio Trigger's next anime project was a full, TV anime series for
Little Witch Academia following two well-received OVA shorts. The following month, it was announced that the
project would be streaming internatinally on Netflix. Now, we've learned that the series is premiering in Japan this January, during the already stacked Winter 2017 anime season. This means it will be many weeks until Little Witch Academia arrives on the leading North American streaming platform.
Yoh Yoshinari is returning to direct, with Michiru Shimada supervising the script and Shuhei Handa on character design.
